Career Aspiration

Aspiring to be in a leadership role that is focused on strategic transformation and AI and emerging technologies with a financial services or insurance organization. 

For an AI program to generate optimal performance, it will require technology, but also a creative and well defined strategy, strong overall delivery, communication, and change management.  This being said, this is why I believe my focused 25-year career in leading complex business / technology transformations and all the aspects of people, process, and technology change make me an ideal candidate for this type of role. 

Core Competencies

  • Strategic Vision – Ability to identify strategic business challenges and use cases that can be addressed by emerging technology.  Ability to see “big picture” and know how to develop roadmap to achieve desired results.  

  • Business + Technical Background – Business major, who initially worked in a high-volume call center as a licensed broker.  Strong understanding of process reengineering and improvement.  Trained and experienced technical delivery expert with ability to comprehend, lead and deliver complex enterprise solutions.  Well experienced in multiple modern and emerging digital and AI related technologies.

  • Relationship Building + Salesmanship – Based on my broad transformation perspectives, delivery expertise, and approach I quickly develop credibility and can establish relationships with senior executives, LOB leaders, and front-line users. I’m skilled in storytelling and selling strategic transformation to these audiences and obtaining approvals to drive change. 

  • Execution + Delivery – Proven history of successful delivery of large complex multimillion dollar programs.  Delivered $100M+ in measured bottom-line improvements during career.  Have the demeanor and grit to see tough stressful projects through to drive projected impacts. 

  • Change Management + Adoption – Know how to lead strategic change, communicate, educate and develop needed buy-in to drive adoption.   Transformation is much more than technology and largest challenge is managing change and driving trust and momentum.
